S’mores Brownies
S’mores Brownies combine rich, fudgy brownies with the classic flavors of graham crackers, milk chocolate, and gooey marshmallows. This easy recipe transforms a box of brownie mix into a dessert that brings together the best parts of campfire s’mores and homemade brownies.

Easy Smores Brownies with Box Mix
I’ve always loved s’mores; they feel so nostalgic and fun! And since brownies are one of my favorite desserts, combining the two just made sense. This recipe takes everything I love about both and turns it into one decadent, gooey treat.
I love finding ways to dress up boxed brownie mixes and make them feel a little more special. Just like my Buckeye Brownies and Baileys Brownies, this recipe takes a simple mix and transforms it into something extra decadent. Adding graham crackers, milk chocolate Hershey’s bars, and mini marshmallows turns a basic mix into a dessert that tastes like it took way more effort than it actually does. A quick trip under the broiler gives the marshmallows that perfect toasted finish, just like classic s’mores.

Ingredients
- Graham crackers – Add a crunchy base and classic s’mores flavor.
- Brownie mix – Forms the base for the brownies.
- Mini marshmallows – Toast on top for a gooey marshmallow layer.
- Hershey’s bars: Melt slightly into the warm brownies for that signature s’mores chocolate flavor.

Making the Brownies
- Prep – Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix package instructions. Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Layer the graham crackers – Arrange 4-5 graham crackers into pieces in an even layer on the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Prepare the brownie batter – Make the brownie batter following the instructions on the box, using the ingredients listed on the package.
- Pour and bake – Pour the brownie batter over the graham cracker layer and spread it evenly. Bake according to package directions.

- Add toppings – Once baked, remove the brownies from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the mini marshmallows, broken Hershey’s pieces, and the remaining broken graham crackers evenly over the top.
- Broil to toast – Place the pan under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, watching closely, until the marshmallows are golden brown and toasted.
- Cool and serve – Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing to help them set and make cleaner cuts.

Variations and Substitutions
- Use dark chocolate – Swap the milk chocolate Hershey’s bars for dark chocolate for a richer, less sweet flavor.
- Add peanut butter – Drizzle peanut butter over the brownie batter before baking, or swirl it in for a fun twist.
- Use homemade brownie batter – If you prefer, use your favorite homemade brownie recipe instead of a boxed mix.

Tips for Success
- Watch the broiler closely – The marshmallows can toast very quickly, so don’t walk away while broiling.
- Use parchment paper – Lining the pan helps with easy removal and clean-up.
- Use fresh marshmallows – They melt and toast better than older, dried-out marshmallows.

Storage
Store the cooled brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
To freeze, wrap the brownies tightly and transfer them to an airtight container or freezer bag for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
