Easy Snickers Peanut Butter Pie

I really like having a few easy no-bake pies in my back pocket, especially during the summer when I don’t want to turn on the oven. The rich, creamy filling of this Snickers cream cheese pie reminds me a of my Eggnog Pie. Plus I love how everything mixes in one bowl, which makes cleanup easy too.

Snickers is one of my favorite candies, and I like how the chunks of nougat and peanuts add some texture to the smooth filling. This pie is always a favorite whenever I make it, and there’s never any left by the end of the day.

Ingredients

  • Cream cheese – Adds a thick, tangy base that gives the filling its structure and richness.
  • Powdered sugar – Sweetens the filling and helps it stay smooth.
  • Chunky peanut butter – Brings in peanut flavor and adds a bit of texture from the peanut pieces.
  • Caramel sauce – Adds sweetness and a little extra richness.
  • Whipped topping (Cool Whip) – Lightens the texture of the filling and makes it fluffy.
  • Snickers bars – The star of the show. Providing chewy, crunchy bites of chocolate, nougat, caramel, and peanuts throughout.
  • Graham cracker crust – I use the ready-made crusts, but you can use a homemade version if you prefer.
Pie ingredients on countertop: whipped topping, Snickers pieces, caramel sauce, peanut butter, graham crust, cream cheese, sugar.

How to Make the No-Bake Pie

  1. Mix the filling – In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and caramel sauce together until smooth and well combined.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping – Gently fold in the Cool Whip with a spatula until the mixture is light and evenly blended.
Four-step creamy mixture: ingredients in bowl, mixing, adding whipped topping, and final blend served in white bowls.
  1. Add the Snickers – Stir in the chopped Snickers until evenly distributed throughout the filling.
  2. Fill the crust – Spoon the filling into the graham cracker crust and smooth out the top.
  3. Chill the pie – Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  4. Garnish and serve – If desired, top with whipped cream and extra Snickers pieces before serving.

Variations and Substitutions

  • Use smooth peanut butter – If you prefer a completely creamy texture, swap the chunky peanut butter for smooth. The flavor stays the same, just without the peanut bits.
  • Try a chocolate cookie crust – For an extra chocolatey version, use an Oreo or chocolate cookie crust in place of the graham cracker crust.
  • Swap the candy – Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, or Peanut Butter Cups can be used instead of Snickers for a different flavor. Just keep the quantity about the same.
  • Extra caramel swirl – Drizzle more caramel over the top before chilling or just before serving for added flavor and presentation.

Tips for Success

  • Soften the cream cheese – Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing to avoid lumps in the filling.
  • Use a sturdy spatula – When folding in the whipped topping, use a silicone spatula and mix gently to keep the filling light and airy.
  • Chop the Snickers evenly – Cut the bars into small, bite-sized pieces so they mix in well and don’t sink to the bottom.
  • Don’t skip the chill time – The pie needs at least 4 hours in the fridge to fully set. Overnight is even better if you have the time.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces brick-style cream cheese room temperature
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 (8-ounce) tub whipped topping thawed (Cool Whip)
  • 1 1/2 cups Snickers bars roughly chopped
  • 1 (9-inch) graham cracker crust
  • whipped cream and chopped Snickers optional for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, peanut butter, and caramel sauce until smooth and fully combined.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping with a spatula until the mixture is light and even.
  • Stir in all of the chopped Snickers until evenly distributed.
  • Spoon the filling into the graham cracker crust and smooth the top.
  • Cover and refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
  • If desired, garnish with whipped cream and more chopped Snickers just before serving.

Notes

  • Store the pie covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. A pie container or loosely tented foil works well to keep it fresh without smashing the topping.
  • You can freeze the pie for up to 1 month. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap, then in foil. If you choose to freeze it, serve it straight from frozen. Thawing it will change the texture, but it holds up well as a frozen dessert.
