These Easter Pudding Cups are a fun and festive treat featuring layers of colorful white chocolate pudding, crunchy golden Oreo crumbs, and sweet decorations. The cups are topped with shredded coconut, bright mini eggs, and a cute Peeps bunny for the perfect holiday touch.

Easy Easter Pudding Dessert Cups
There’s nothing I love more than easy, cute desserts—and these Easter pudding cups fit the bill perfectly. The layers of colorful white chocolate pudding and crunchy golden Oreo crumbs are so simple to assemble, but they make such a fun presentation on the dessert table. They remind me a lot of my Halloween Graveyard Dirt Pudding Cups—same idea, just with a spring twist.
This is one of those recipes that’s super customizable and perfect for getting kids involved. My niece and nephew always have a blast choosing their favorite pudding colors and decorating the tops with candy eggs and Peeps bunnies. The coconut “grass” is a favorite, too! Keep in mind that the exact yield will vary depending on the size of your cups, but that just adds to the flexibility.

Ingredients
- Instant white chocolate pudding mix – The smooth texture in the dessert compliments the cookie crumbs.
- Whole milk – Blends with the pudding for a rich consistency.
- Food coloring (green, pink, blue, yellow) – Adds fun, festive color to each layer.
- Golden Oreo crumbs – Crunchy “dirt” layer that adds texture.
- Sweetened shredded coconut – Tinted green to look like grass.
- Peeps bunnies – Cute marshmallow toppers for a fun Easter vibe.
- Mini eggs – Colorful, chocolatey candy for added crunch and decoration.

Making the Layered Pudding Cups
- Make the pudding – In a large bowl, whisk together the instant white chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Divide and color – Split the pudding evenly into 3 bowls. Add a few drops of food coloring—blue, yellow, and pink—one color per bowl. Stir each until fully combined and smooth.

- Layer the cups – Start with a spoonful of Golden Oreo crumbs at the bottom of each cup. Then alternate spoonfuls of the colored pudding and Oreo cookie crumbs to create layers. Repeat until the cups are almost full, leaving a little space on top for the decorations.

- Tint the coconut – Add the shredded coconut and a couple drops of green food coloring to a small zip-top bag. Seal the bag and shake until the coconut is evenly coated.
- Decorate – Sprinkle the green coconut “grass” over the pudding. Top each cup with your Easter Peeps and a few mini eggs.
- Chill – Refrigerate the assembled cups for at least 30 minutes before serving so the layers can set.

Variations and Substitutions
- Different pudding flavors – Swap white chocolate pudding with vanilla or cheesecake flavor for a similar taste and texture.
- Use chocolate Oreos – For a more classic “dirt” cup vibe, chocolate Oreo cookies can be used instead of golden.
- Try Vanilla Wafer Crumbs – Crushed vanilla wafer cookies work great as an alternative to Oreo crumbs for a lighter, less-sweet flavor.
- No coconut? No problem – Skip the coconut or use green sprinkles or tinted frosting for grass if you prefer.
- Change up the toppings – Use different Easter candy like jelly beans, gummy carrots, or edible grass for a unique look.

Tips for Success
- Use instant pudding – Make sure to use instant pudding mix, not the cook-and-serve kind, or it won’t set properly for layering.
- Chill the milk first – Cold milk helps the pudding thicken quickly and evenly.
- Use gel food coloring – Gel colors create vibrant layers without thinning the pudding.
- Layer neatly – For cleaner layers, pipe the pudding using a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner snipped.
- Don’t overfill – Leave space at the top so there’s room for toppings without spillover.
- Let them set – Chill the assembled cups for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the pudding to firm up.
- Prep toppings in advance – Crushing the Oreos and tinting the coconut ahead of time makes assembling quicker and easier.

Storage
Assembled pudding cups should be stored in the refrigerator, covered with plastic wrap or lids if your containers have them. They’ll stay fresh for up to 3 days. For the best texture, add the coconut, Peeps, and mini eggs just before serving to keep them from getting too soft. If you need to prep further ahead, store the colored pudding and toppings separately and assemble the cups the day of.
