- 2 (15-ounce) cans mandarin oranges drained, and ½ cup juice reserved
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 (3-ounce) box orange Jello dry mix only
- 1 (3.4-ounce) box instant vanilla pudding dry mix only
- 1 (8-ounce) tub whipped topping thawed (Cool Whip)
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
In a large bowl, dissolve the orange Jello in the boiling water.
Stir in ½ cup of the reserved mandarin orange juice and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Whisk in the dry vanilla pudding mix until smooth and slightly thickened.
Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until fully combined.
Add the drained mandarin oranges and mini marshmallows, and stir until evenly mixed.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Use ½ cup cold water if you forget to reserve the mandarin juice.
- Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir gently before serving if any separation occurs.
- Freezing is not recommended. Freezing will alter the texture and cause the whipped topping and pudding to break down, so it's best enjoyed fresh from the fridge.
