Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Place 24 Ritz crackers, flat side up, on a 9x13-inch baking sheet.
Fold each piece of ham and place it on a cracker. Top with a slice of Swiss cheese.
Place the remaining 24 crackers on top to form sandwiches.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and poppy seeds.
Spoon or brush the butter mixture over the tops of each sandwich.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden.
Serve warm.
- Sandwiches are best served warm, but can be kept in a low oven if prepping ahead.
- Store any leftover sandwiches in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. To reheat, place them on a baking sheet and warm in a 300°F oven for 5–7 minutes, or until heated through. The crackers will soften slightly after refrigeration, but will crisp up a bit again when reheated.
