These no-bake Oreo truffles are rich, creamy, and coated in a crisp chocolate shell for the perfect bite-sized treat. With just three ingredients, they’re incredibly simple to make and one of my favorite treats to make when I want something that looks fancy and tastes delicious.

Cream Cheese Oreo Truffles
I’ve made a lot of cookie truffles over the years, and they’ve definitely become one of my favorite things to make. I even have an entire category on my blog dedicated to No-Bake Truffles because I just keep coming back to them. Sure, they take a little patience, but the end result is always worth it.
For dipping, I usually stick with almond bark because it gives such a smooth, firm coating that holds up well. I have a set of dipping tools I love from Amazon, but honestly, a regular fork works great too.
If you like these classic Oreo truffles, you’ve got to try my Lemon Oreo Truffles and Strawberry Shortcake Truffles. Those two are my personal favorites!

Ingredients
- Oreo cookies – Crushed into fine crumbs to form the chocolatey base of the truffles.
Cream cheese – Softened cream cheese binds the crumbs and gives the filling a smooth, creamy texture. - Almond bark – To coat the truffles. You can use white or chocolate almond bark. I use both!

Making the Oreo Truffle Balls
- Prep – Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Crush the Oreos – Add the cookies to a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs.
- Mix with cream cheese – Use an electric hand mixer to beat the softened cream cheese and Oreo crumbs until fully combined and smooth.
- Form the truffles – Scoop 1-tablespoon portions and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.

- Melt the almond bark – In separate bowls, melt vanilla and chocolate almond bark according to package directions, stirring until smooth.
- Dip and coat – Use a fork or dipping tool to dip each frozen truffle into the melted coating. Gently tap your hand to let the excess drip off.
- Set and decorate – Place dipped truffles back on the parchment and drizzle remaining melted almond bark over the tops. Chill until firm.

Variations and Substitutions
- Different Oreo flavors – Swap classic Oreos for Golden, Mint, Birthday Cake, or seasonal flavors for fun twists.
- Use candy melts – Instead of almond bark, use colored candy melts to match holidays or party themes.
- Add extract – Mix a small amount of peppermint, almond, or coconut extract into the filling for extra flavor.
- Decorate with toppings – Try crushed Oreos, sprinkles, sanding sugar, or mini chocolate chips on top before the coating sets.

Tips for Success
- Use full-fat cream cheese – It blends better and gives the truffles a richer texture.
- Crush Oreos finely – A food processor works best to get a uniform, dough-like mixture.
- Soften cream cheese fully – This makes mixing easier and helps everything come together smoothly.
- Freeze before dipping – Cold truffles hold their shape and make dipping cleaner and easier.
- Tap, don’t shake – Gently tap your hand while holding the dipping tool to remove excess coating without the truffle falling apart.
- Work in batches – Keep some truffles in the freezer while dipping the others so they stay firm.
- Use parchment paper – It prevents sticking and makes cleanup easier.

Can I make cake pop with these truffle balls
Yes, these work for cake pops. Freeze the balls for 30 minutes as instructed and then insert a candy pop stick which has been dipped in melted chocolate into the ball, return to the freezer for 5 minutes to ensure the stick stays in place, then dip the balls in chocolate.
